Relationship between Case and Account

I have many accounts that have the same name but a different address. I have added fields to the Case module to have the address. The question is: How can I set a relationship that would populate these fields from the Account module when I picked the Account when I have edited the Case. I setup a new relationship one to one with the parent Case and the other Account. That is as far as I got. Can this be done and if so can someone help me out here??

Best case would be to write a logic hook before_save of cases to set the values correctly in the cases module.

Sounds simple enough. If I searched the documentation and the forums would I find a tutorial or examples?
