Default Relationship disappears after deploy custom module

I made a connection between a custom module and the contacts module in sugarcrm 5.2.0a with the dutch language.

Works like a charm(except sugar didn't put the language string in the dutch language files).

When I make a modification to my custom module I need to deploy the package and that means that the connection disappears.

Is this a bug or is there something wrong with my sugarcrm installation.

There is also a second problem. Sugar don't put the translation strings in the dutch language files, so I see things like: LBL_CONTACTS ...... etc. Is this a bug or is there something wrong with my sugarcrm installation?

Sugarcrm 5.2.0a CE (fresh install, no upgrades)
    Working with the dutch language.
    php 5.2.8
    mysql 5.1.30
Xampp localhost on windows vista business

    Hi wildow

Once you installed in a fresh installation I believe you had identified a bug in that current version.
I suggest you to file that issue on bugs.sugarcrm.com

If you deployed a custom module build through Module Builder, but then created a relationship in Studio, if you redeploy the custom module in Module Builder, the relationship will not be there. (The data should still be in the database, however.)

It is recommended that you make all customizations to custom modules in Module Builder, not Studio, and redeploy after making those changes.

In Sugar 5.5, the ability to create Many-to-One relationships between custom modules and already deployed modules exists, so there is no longer the need to create those kinds of relationships in Studio.

In the interim, a workaround to avoid losing custom relationships created in Studio after redeploying the module Module Builder is to use the Export Customizations feature in Studio to bring the custom module with custom relationships into Module Builder.

Let me know if you have any questions.
