anyone with information on this? its really a major hindrance in my installation
bump.......
Have you enabled them in "My Account"? My Account -> User Settings -> Display Reminder must be checked for the javascript alerts to fire when you have a meeting or call coming up.
That setting plus checking the "remind" checkbox when scheduling a meeting/call should ping you when you specify (usually 15 mins, iirc).
Having done the above, if it still doesn't work, gather *all* the pertinent information about your system, client, and use-case(s), and then file a bug through our Bug Portal.
I just tried this with my 5.0 dev code and it works for me (OSX 10.4.9, Firefox 2.0.0.3, Apache 1.33.x, PHP 4.4.4).

Can you have reminders for bugs? Especially critical ones within the Sugar CE bug tracker?
thanks!
I'm not 100% on this one, but have you checked to make sure the cURL php extension is loaded?

Hello,
I cant get reminder alarms to work either. I have enabled them in "My Account"? as suggested and they are ticked in . I also read in one of the forums that it might be because the clock wasnt synced to internet time, so I've also done that and still it doesnt work.
Is there any thing else I can try ....?
Where do I send the details of this to see if its a bug and look at getting it working?
regards
Sugar bugs can be searched and logged at http://bugs.sugarcrm.com
Also remember to check Admin-> Email Settings-> Configure and make sure the checkbox is checked for "Notifications on?" to enable email notifications.

you need to make changes in jsalerts.php which is present in /include/javascript/jsalerts.php
