Remote Web Server Install

I am installing Sugar CRM 4.2 to a web server hosted by another company. When I try to start the installation I am getting the error.......
Writable Modules Sub-Directories and Files Not Writeable.
I'm pretty sure I set all files in the modules directory to 777.
Can anyone help?

You should be able to check the "attributes" of the files and folders on the server with your ftp client.
Look for attributes like: drwxrwxrwx
Some ftp clients let you change the attributes.

I am having the same problem, I am using cuteFTP and it shows that all the files are set to 777, I manually went through each directory and set all the files myself. Does anyone have the solution to this?

Is there another way to check in my ftp that the files are correctly set?
