Remove/disable search form in modules

The only method I found for removing the basic/advanced search form from modules list views was for an older version of Sugar. I'm using 5.0.0e and there doesn't seem to be an easy way to do it. I'm assuming it has to do with include/MVC/View/views/view.list.php but editing that just to led to a lot of errors.

Has anyone done this? Thanks.

First off, Why do you want to disable the search!!!

You might be better off using studio to elimante the fields from the search and not work in the actuall code.

Because there's another search at the top right which works perfectly fine. I'd rather just have the modules show the list view first (such as Contacts). It's not a big deal. I'm just trying to get it all customized the way I want.
