Remove the rem link in History

Hi,

I want to remove the rem link in the History Subpanel. I have edited the ForHistory.php metadata file for each module and put it into the custom directory.

This works, but when the rem link is removed for Meetings, rem appears in the subpanel field list and is sortable, if you click this you get a error then that remove_button is not a field in the DB as a query runs and tries to sort by it.

This only appears once I comment out the rem link for Meetings in History. I am going about this the wrong way or does anyone know how to get rid of the rem in the Supanel Field List.

By field list I mean where is say Subject, Status, Contact, Date Modified, Date Entered, Assigned User... There is nothing above Edit & Rem but when i remove the Meeting Rem link then rem appears next to assigned user

So just an update of what is happening. I have removed all the rem links but see the image below for what is happening when I remove it from the Meetings Module not Calls as the image says

Make sure you have overwritten every files under all modules mentioned below.

 modules/Notes/metadata/subpanels/ForHistory.php
modules/Tasks/metadata/subpanels/ForHistory.php
modules/Meetings/metadata/subpanels/ForHistory.php
modules/Emails/metadata/subpanels/ForHistory.php
modules/Calls/metadata/subpanels/ForHistory.php
