Removing a custom module

I have tried to find a valid thread here to answer my question, but vbulletin's search engine is not the best. I was wondering if there is a way to remove a module once it has been developed

So if I create a new module called Test and I want to delete it, what is the best way so it does not show up any longer in the module builder area?

I know that I can remove the tables in the database manually, but that still does not remove it totally?

Any help would be appreciated

To remove the deployed module from the application:

admin->module loader->{select module}->uninstall
then, {select module}->delete

To remove the module from the module builder:

admin->module builder->{select package}->{select module}->delete button
