Removing and Upgrade

I used the upgrade wizard to upgrade from 5.0 to 5.1 but a module I want to use is not available or rather won't work in 5.1 while I am waiting for the fixes (about 2 weeks) I would like to revert to 5.0 and keep working. My Question

If I back up the db on 5.1
Remove Sugar CRM
Re-install 5.0
Then Restore the db - will that work or are there too many "behind the scenes" changes to make that happen.

BTW Community edition on win2k w/s 512mb Ram MySQL and Apache from the Stack installer for windows.

I run this under a VM machine so I can Sandbox it if I need to but guidance would be nice.

OK so here is what I did!!

First of all I used "Navicat" to backup all my data.
Then, I uninstalled sugarcrm entirely

Then, I installed 5.0 with about the same settings.
Then, using Navicat, I restored the data
Do Not Log in yet
Then, I edited the config table and replaced the version info with 5.0.0

It mostly worked. I have only one problem and I am not sure if it is connected. . . . .

My email has lost the dropdowns (i.e. the quickcreate and view) items. Also it is a bit slow and I am not sure why!
