Replacing Logos - Re-Appear

Please help.

I have read the licenses and the discussion in the forum regarding which logos are allowed to be replaced and which are not allowed to be replaced. If I have read correctly, I believe it is OK to replace company_logo.png and company_logo_wap.gif with a company logo. I have done this and kept the exact sizes of the original images and yet when I refresh my browser and delete cache the original "sugarcrm: put your company logo here" reappears. What am I doing wrong? Please help. I am happy to keep in place whatever is required, but would just like to put a company logo where this is acceptable.

Type placing the logo in the /theme/<name>/images/ directory as well.

This is exactly correct. You are welcome to change all instances of company_logo.png with your logo. In previous releases, we used the one file under include/images. In 2.5+ we are using files specific to the themes in order to allow for different images to match the current theme.

Changing all instances of company_logo.png with your image will put your logo in the upper left corner of every page.

It sounds like you might be running into some issues that were in v2.0.1. I suggest upgrading to v2.5 that we just released last week.

Thanks so much. That did the trick. With 2.5 you have to also put the company_logo.png in the image folder within each of the theme folders.

It'd be cool if the company logo graphic path and the page title string (which appears in the window title) were stored in the main .cfg file someplace.

I've changed the logos , it works using Mozilla 1.5
( Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 )
But whenever i'm using MS IE ( version 6 ) the logos don't show up .
Is this related to "pngbehavior.htc" .
Why implement this if it only works for one type of browser ?

What can i do to solve the problem ?

I've replaced company_logo at 212X40 pixels. However, many instances on the pages other than the upper lefthand corner are stretching/squashed out of shape. Help.
