    Post Replicating the Database????????

    Hello Evrybody

Is it possible to replicate the CRM database between two servers?
If yes, plz guide me to do this....
For this purpose, should i have to use the same configured servers at both end? Should i have to use the same OS, apache Version and sugarOS version?

    My Server environment is:

Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition with Service Pack 1
apache2traid 1.5.4.exe for web service (includes Apache to 2.2.0,PHP to 5.1.2,MySQL to 5.0.18)

    Waiting for the Replies...
    Thanx
    Subrat.

Could you possibly clarify your question for us?

Do you want two different SugarCRM deployments/installations to use the same data (sql database)?

Or do you want to have another {new/additional/seperate} SugarCRM deployment/installation in which has all the {same} data as a previous/different SugarCRM deployment opposed to starting off with an database that is empty of data & records?

    Chris,

    Hi Chris,

What i am looking for is to have two different SugarCRM deployments/installations to use the same data (sql database) however one would be in india and the other in U.S. all the work i do at the indian side of CRM should also be replicated in the US side as well and vice-versa.

The most imoprtant things....Can this be done Automatically( replicating of database )? if yes, plz let me know how!

I understand.. You'd be better off to just use a single deployment (and db) of Sugar in which is web based..

Though, what you're after is possible and we've done this, it's a pretty fairly complicated and hasslesome to implement..
To say the least, it doesn't justify (for most organizations needs and/or environment) the expense in comparison to other options.
