Question Reply Email Functionality in Cases

    Hi Guys

I was wondering if anyone knows of a plugin or tool (or infact a method within the OOBE SugarCRM CE to have Case Resolution automatically emailed to Case Requester in event of Case Closed?

I have a feature request thread open, and have done since last year with no replys, and perhaps its because this funcitonality already exists?

    Sugar CE
    Windows Server 2008
    IIS 7
    MSSQL Express 2005

You can do this in Sugar Pro or Enterprise with workflows.

    Hi Suzie...

Thanks for the quick response on this. I need to put together a case for management as to why we would upgrade to Sugar Pro and this may be a fine reason.

Still am surprised that this doesnt exist as basic functionality.

Is this to limit the usability of CE, and give more users reasons to upgrade?

    Cheers
