Replying to e-mails doesn't include my text!

Using Sugar Open Source Version 4.5.0d (Build 1168).

I have a user setup, lets call him JAKE. When I send an e-mail to jake from an outside e-mail account, he gets it in his inbox. When he clicks "reply" on that e-mail, and sends an e-mail, on the other end (outside e-mail account) gets only what was originally send to JAKE. The outside mailbox doesn't even get the text that Jake wrote in his reply!

How can I diagnose this issue as I am testing sugarCRM out right now to see if it is something that I can get rid of Outlook completely with, but I can't if the e-mails going out dont have the text we put in them!

(BTW, i've tried replying via HTML AND TEXT with same issue).

WHEN I SEND an e-mail from a blank e-mail via the "COMPOSE EMAIL" on the left side, it shows the text just fine (no problem).

I have also tried using Firefox and IE with the same diagnostics as above.

Hi lanx, you have us scratching our heads.

Does this occur only with "Jake", or all users? Admin or not?

What if you saved the reply as a draft? See the text?

I think I remember seeing this when a javascript error prevented FCKeditor from saving the message body, so that's something to look for at least.

I tried what you said and it worked correctly for me. Can you provide more information about your environment? Like OS, web server, php version, database, and browser. Do you use English or other language?
