Report on products

Hey Guys,

We're using Sugar5.0 Pro. How can I search for contacts who purchased product X?
there is no linking under report tab between contacts and products.

Please let me know if anyone has a solution for this, or if I'm going to have to customize the reporting module.

customizing the reports module probably won't solve your issue.

there is currently no direct relationship between a contact and "what they've purchased" (i.e. linking a contact to a product catalog or products item).

if you're familiar enough with the Sugar code, you can add a new relationship to the contacts module which related a contact to the product catalog module. if the relationship is created properly, you should be able to create a report where contacts is related to product catalog.

without doing any code changes, the only way you could possibly identify this relationship is contacts related to quotes->product bundles->products
