Reports in SugarCRM Open Source

It looks like jasper or Zucker is not for me. Here is what I needed?

For instance, I am in the detailed view with a bunch of subpanels including activities. I am interested in printing the contents of the detailed view, contents of the subpanel records. I don't need all those buttons appearing in the report. The current "print" command is useless for me. But a modification of it might be useful. But I REALLY need help.

How to accomplish this?

BTW: What does the current Print command do? It just display the same contents with those buttons again in an HTML page. Is this the intention? It would be great if they can remove them and make it more formal.

ZuckerReports is EXACTELY for you.
it basically is a runtime environment for one of the most powerful free reporting engines called "JasperReports". It already includes some ready-to-use report designs, and your custom reporting/printing requirements can be implemented by using "iReport", a tool to create your printout screens by drag&drop.

Zucker and Jasper are they same? If not, what is the differenece? Okay I will try to download Zucker reports.

no, not the same. ZuckerReports is partly based on the JasperReports library and integrated into Sugar as own module. "Jasper for SugarCRM" is fully based on JasperREports library and NOT integrated into Sugar as own module.
