About LinkBacksHi Guys,
How do I prevent users from changing their passwords in Sugar CE v6.1? We have users that wouldn't hesitate to set the password to they're last name. Setting passwords should ONLY be an administrator function.

How do I prevent users from changing their passwords in Sugar CE v6.1? We have users that wouldn't hesitate to set the password to they're last name. Setting passwords should ONLY be an administrator function.

Click Admin > Password Management and enable the option to use system generated passwords.

Thanks for your reply but I don't want system generated passwords. In our company, my IT staff controls all passwords so that we can log into anything as any particular user in order to troubleshoot or review access rights. We keep a password database accessible only to IT. If I understand system generated passwords, any user can request a new password and we lose that control.

The only option along those lines would be to enable the LDAP integration.
