Here's my problem. I have a group of 7 users whose email I need to get into Sugar and attach to the appropriate contacts. I've managed to get an email import working using a group folder and the cron so I'm fine with that. However, because this is not a true group email address like sales@whatever.com and instead is something like joeblow@whetever.com, susiebob@whatever.com, etc., my concern is that I'm going to get email I shouldn't such as HR email, personal email and manager correspondence as one of the 7 is a manager. It appears to me that all I have to do is click a few times and bingo there's the group folder.
My understanding is that I'd have been able to do this in 4.51 without any gyrations and that I could still do this by not using the group folder and having users import each email through the email interface. Unfortunately, we aren't using nor likely to ever use the Sugar email application although I'm sure they'd love the opportunity to look their email twice just so we could get it imported. My guess is that I've got to go have some code in what appears to be a very large php page and I'd like to not do that.
Any suggestions on how to lock the group folder down or limit the import to only emails that would directly attach to an existing account?
I'm running sugar 5.1CE.
Thanks for any help!
