Question Role members in drop-down field

    Hi all,

I would like to add a drop-down field to the Accounts and Opportunities screens which is populated with members of a particular role. We have here the concept of Service Delivery Managers (SDMs), which exists as a custom role in Sugar (we're using 5.0.0.a at this time). When we add a new opportunity or account, we'd like to assign a SDM from a drop-down containing only SDMs. Naturally this could be created as a custom but static drop-down, but this would be a bit rough because it would need to be managed separately, rather than being updated automatically.

It seems like a pretty basic piece of functionality (populate custom drop-down list with role members), so I wonder if there's a good reason for it being absent. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Paul

Out of the box, Sugar does not provide support for Teams.
Dynamic team management can be added with Team OS module.
What do you think the cookie monster eats ?
