Default Running 4.5.1e local on mac - not starting today?

    Sorry - extreme newbie here..

I downloaded the full stack yesterday (BitRock Mac OSX Installer 4.5.1e ) for my mac. It installed perfectly and I was filling my database all day yesterday with contacts.

This morning, I go to my bookmark (http://127.0.0.1:8080/sugarcrm/index...e&action=index)

and now the browser just hangs.. it just says it is waiting for 127.0.0.1....

do I have to turn a service on somewhere???

sorry again for my ignorance here.

    thanks in advance

    Patrick

    Hi

You need to start the web server first. Open a terminal, go to where you installed Sugar (typically /Applications/sugarcrm-4.5.1e) and issue the following command:

    ./sugarctl.sh start

    That should do the trick

    Cheers

    Daniel
