Safari/Firefox on Mac hangs after hitting user SAVE button

I am running latest sugarcrm on this platform:

openSuSE 10.3
php5-5.2.6-0.1
apache2-2.2.4-70.2
mysql-5.0.45-22.7

Any browser from any OS works fine while on internal network. While accessing sugarcrm from the outside every browser performs well, except Safari and Firefox on MacOS. As soon as I click on user SAVE button, browser hangs. Safari never recovers, while Firefox, might recover after 10-15 mins.

Changing php.ini setting to recommended one have not helped me. None of sugarcrm.log or apache logs show useful information.

I doubt if this is a SugarCRM issue. Please check network access, etc.

Assuming it is a network issue. How come it only propagates for certain OS and particular PHP calls?

We have the same issue. But only some people have the issue. I just ie7 and firefox. I cannot save using firefox or crome without hanging. Other guy in my office no firefox issues at all. We cannot find the issue. But it must be some where inside of firefox.

We use sugarcrm ce 4.5.1 and 5.2.0a fedora 8

Correction:

The 4.5.1 works fine and the 5.2.0a hangs

Windows xp desktop server is fedora 8

Did you ever resolve this issue? I'm having the same problem. Works fine in Windows "Parallels" running on OSX using firefox, but not on "normal" OSX using firefox.

Has anyone found a resolution to this issue? I use Firefox on my iMac 10.5 at home and I can't get past hitting save. It just hangs for 10 mins or so. Please, please, please help!
