Default Sales Stage Sorting in Opportunity List

    Hi,

I modified my sales stages in Studio (not in PHP) and now I can't get them to sort correctly by sales stage in the Opportunity module. I deleted two in-between stages, renamed and added numbers to my sales stages and dragged and dropped until the labels were in sequence, but the list still sorts incorrectly.

It's frustrating because I had simplified and numbered the stages to clean up our opportunities list which has become so long that it's hard to pick out the important opportunities in the list. Now, it's a complete mess -- oops!

Is there a simple way to restore the sales stages back to their defaults? What is controlling the sort order of the stages?

    Thanks!

Open the file '\custom\include\language\en_us.lang.php' and you can edit the list directly. The order you put them in this file should be the order that they show up in.

    Hi Kennith,
'\custom\include\language\en_us.lang.php' has the entries in the same order as the pull-down editor -- it doesn't affect the sort order in main opportunities page. (I'm using 4.5c). I also tried editing include\language\en_us.lang.php but that didn't work either.
