Default Same database for 2 editions

Hi, i have a basic doubt, i want to develop Sugarcrm such that the same database is used for both Professional edition and Community edition. There are totally 12 users, and 4 of them are admins, who use Professional edition, and other 8 users are normal users, who use community edition.
For this, i planned to buy 5 user licenses (1 extra) for 1 year, worth 1800$.

Is it possible that a same database can be used for all of the users, so that the data viewed by admins and normal users is the same ?

    Please advice me.

I've never worked with anything but CE, but based on my experience, the biggest thing to watch for is the database fields. As long as the database fields for the 2 editions are equal, that should be fine.

When you install the 2nd instance of SugarCRM, the installation routine will probably give you fits if you try to use the same db, so set the 2nd one up with a new db, then go in to the config.php and change it once the program is installed. Then you'll want to access the db and drop the "dummy" db.

Above all else, I'd try it on a test box with a backup copy of your db first before I went to production.

    Just my thoughts.

No, you cannot do that. Aside from the technical aspects of the two Editions requiring differing database schemas, it is also a violation of the subscription terms. All users must use the same Edition of Sugar.

Ok, thanks for your valuable suggestions. I would consider using only the professional edition.
