    Default Saved Search & Layout

We just upgraded to the new version 4.5.0(e) and the Saved Search & Layout doesn't work at all, at least not in the Opportunities tab. If I re-arrange the order of some fields, and then type a name like "My View" into the Save This Search As box and hit Save, it doesn't get saved.

In IE there is some type of JavaScript error. I haven't checked the FF error log yet.

I went to the hosted demo version on the SugarCRM website, and it works fine. But it is running 4.5.0(b). So apparently it was something introduced between b and e. It is such a basic feature that seemingly would be used daily, so I'm not sure why nobody has mentioned it or it hasn't been reported.

    Has anybody else experienced this?

Angry Re: Saved Search & Layout

This bug still exists in patch f. When I type a name into the "Save this search as:" and press save, it doesn't get saved or show up in the previous saved searches, it just produces the following 16 JavaScript errors in FF.

Error: Error in parsing value for property 'display'. Declaration dropped.
    Source File: /themes/Sugar/calendar-win2k-cold-1.css?s=4.5.0f&c=
    Line: 182

Error: Unknown property 'filter'. Declaration dropped.
    Source File: /themes/Sugar/navigation.css?s=4.5.0f&c=
    Line: 33

Error: Unknown property 'behavior'. Declaration dropped.
    Source File: /themes/Sugar/style.css?s=4.5.0f&c=
    Line: 36

Error: Error in parsing value for property 'cursor'. Declaration dropped.
    Source File: /themes/Sugar/style.css?s=4.5.0f&c=
    Line: 296

Error: Expected end of value for property but found '5px'. Error in parsing value for property 'padding-top'. Declaration dropped.
    Source File: /themes/Sugar/style.css?s=4.5.0f&c=
    Line: 1070

Error: Unexpected end of file while searching for closing } of invalid rule set.
    Source File: /themes/Sugar/fonts.normal.css?s=4.5.0f&c=
    Line: 322

You get the picture. Can I be the only one trying this new Saved search feature in Opportunities?

Default Re: Saved Search & Layout

    Hi

I've just tested the Saved Search & Layout features in the Opportunity module on a SugarCRM 4.5.0e Pro instance.

I could not reproduce your problems. I was able to add columns or just move columns and save the changed list view. I tried it as admin and as normal user, with Internet Explorer and with Firefox.

If I use FF and the javascript console is open I see errors too. But they don't bother me (at the moment) since it works anyway.

Browser: FF 1.5.0.7 and IE 6.0.2900
    Server: Debian 3.1, Apache 1.3
    SugarPro: 4.5.0e

    Sorry - can't help.

Default Re: Saved Search & Layout (solved)

This was resolved by re-applying the upgraded code again. Somehow only the Opportunities module got corrupted, and in a strange way that still worked, but not exactly right. Since this was pretty obvious functionality, and nobody else was reporting it, I figured we had to go back to square one.
