Saving Custom module record issue

Hi,

I only just noticed this happening, in Accounts if I create a Contact from fule page and press save the action is DetailView which brings me back to the detail view of teh Account I created the contact under.

If I create a Custom record, using any of my cusotm module under an Account after pressing save the action is SubPanelViewer and this just give a blank screen

When I create a Client from full screen and press save this is the link it tries to go to

/dev/index.php?action=DetailView&module=Accounts&record =a27fcfa6-49a6-102c-8082-001d0911a977

When I create a custom Module this is the link it tries to go to and gives the blank screen

/dev/index.php?module=Accounts&action=SubPanelViewer&re cord=a27fcfa6-49a6-102c-8082-001d0911a977

How to fix this

Hi Chris

Check if there is any error message at the tail of error log of your web service (apache or iss).

In my error.log of apache there are a lot of messages regarding

File does not exist: /var/www/din.aspx

and

File does not exist: /var/www/favicon.ico

There are no error messages going into the /var/www/crm/ location

These messages does not regard sugarcrm issues!
This behaviour is pretty weird!

Try to reproduce this same issue on a fresh install (same version you are using) with demo data.
Let us know this.

Hi,

I have three instances configured Live, Demo, Dev - it is happening on them all. I checked the sugarcrm logs when I press the save button and there is no reference to insert into "custom_module" with debug mode and if I go back to hte Account I create it under the record is there and saved....

Seems very odd that the insert into query is not referenced in the log but the record if saved none the less.

Hi,

I tried it again and I deleted my old log file and now I have the query for inserting into the custom module. The query excuted fine but the two line below the insert query are

See that attached file - it is the log from me pressing the save to the blank screen and me logging back in again
