Scheduler, prunedatabase failed

Hello dear Pro's from Sugar CRM,

we' ve been working with SugarCRM since 2 weeks to test and evaluate this system. At first, we want to congratulate for this fine work!
Unfortunatlely we' re not competent enough to solve this problem!
So here are the basics:

- win 2000
- xampp 1.6.5
- DB: mysql 5.0.51
sugarcrm: 5.0.0 a

We installed the test-DB and now we want ot make our experiences !

And here 's the problem:
After deletinga contact from test-DB via Sugar we wanted tocompletely remove it by prene database.

And now our procedere:

We created a task named "testprune" in Sugar, tuned to execute every minute ans activated.

We use php 5.2.5, so we wrote this comment line in a batchfile, placed on C:

cd C:\xampp\htdocs\sugarcrm
C:\xampp\php\php-cgi.exe -c C:\xampp\apache\bin\php.ini -f cron.php


The batch was successfully processed.

But the status of testprune in SugarCRM was "failed" and the tool phpmyadmin shows the record which is to delete. In sugracrm, the person we deleted is away.

Does anyone has an advice for us?

We do also not understand that the instruction shown by sugar crm is:

cd C:\xampp\htdocs\sugarcrm\
php.exe -f cron.php

But that's for php version 4 we think!???

The other jobs (Email etc.) were completed...

Ditto the above with a Linux server.

Linux 2.6.23.12-52.fc7
PHP Version 5.2.4
Apache/2.2.6 (Fedora)
MySQL 5.0.45
SugarCRM 5.0.0a

Other crons are working, (showing completed) but pruneDatabase shows as failed.
(and going into the Database, it is easy to see that it has indeed failed.
