Scheduler Setup- Please Help??

I am a SugarCRM newbie and i have tried setting up the sheduler for Windows but so far no success,
I created the batch file ftp'd it to the SugarCRM installation folder but when I run it nothing happens.

Can someone out there please help

I suggest that you check out Sugar University. We offer the following to help you with your scheduler setup:

• Learning Guides: See the Online Library for the following learning guides on the Admin tab: How Do I... Configure Email Settings and How Do I... Manage Schedulers.
