Search Contacts By Account Type

I'm looking to search Contacts by account type (Get all buyer accounts for example) I found this thread but it doesn't work and it's way to manual (i.e. the Account Type select needs to be dynamic)

Is there an easy way to do this?

You can try the advanced search in the Accounts module. I'm sure there is a filter by type there. If not, then you can add the type field in the studio.

Granted I can search for accounts by type. However I want to search contacts by their related account type.

There IS an Account Name Search but I'm looking to add the account type and have the dropdown populated from Sugar rather than hard coded.
