I am sure this is an easy fix, but I haven't been able to find it on the SugarCRM forum. I added three custom fields to the "account" tab. One is text, one is an integer and the other a date. I can add the three items to the tab and can get it to display. The issue I am having is once I add a custom field, I cannot search on any "name" in the account. I am not even searching on the custom fields. I can search on contacts, but no account name. It always comes up with no "account" listing although I know it exists.
