    Default Search IMAP email (gmail)

I trying to go back and import my contacts and new leads from the past month from my gmail account. I'd like to import all conversations with the same lead into Sugar to have a complete record.

The problem is I can't figure out how to get sugar to search the IMAP account, it seems to only search messages that have already been imported into Sugar. Of course I searching to find the messages that need to be imported. It took all night for Sugar to read the gmail account, but I can't find a way to search even the from and to fields. Am I missing something?

if you want to search sugar emails, you need to be in the email module ... you can search both email contents and headers from there

Wink Re: Search IMAP email (gmail)

I am in the email module. The email module has the local email folder "My Email" and a synchronized folder from gmail.

I can search the "My Email" Folder but not the synchronized gmail folder.

Actually the search dialog doesn't say what it is searching but it only returns results from "My Email" ignoring the contents of the gmail folder.
