Search in Subpanel

Hi Guys,
I have a rather simple Problem. In most cases we have more than 10 entries in most subpanels so I would like to be able to perform a search in a subpanel. How can I do that? For example I would like to choose a contact and search for alle calls concerning this contact. I would like to do this without having to go to Activities and searching for the relevant calls there.

I hope I made it clear. Thanks in advance.

This is not viable. The SugarCRM is not done to do this customization.
To do that you need change SugarCRM core files.
Searching for activities into Activities module is the best way.

Ronaldo is correct. You need to customize the generic/core files for subpanel. As far as i know, you cannot do this in upgrade safe manner.
