Searching Fields in Relationship Not Returning Results

Hi - I have a relationship module set up that relates a "Contact" to a "Property" ("Property" is a custom module that we've created for our purposes). I added both the "Contact" and "Property" fields to the advanced search layout. However, when I do a search for a "Contact" or "Property" that I know exists within one or several relationships, I don't get any results. Note: I am selecting the "Contact" or "Property" from a list in the search, as opposed to just typing it in, so this shouldn't be the issue. Let me know if anyone has any ideas!

Hello Belling,

Try take a look on metadata/SearchFields.php. try put the field in this file, take a look in Accoiunts field for Opportunities, likr that:

'account_name'=> array('query_type'=>'default','db_field'=>array('a ccounts.name')),

this way Sugar search on accounts table.
