searching a module by its subpanel

hello...we are trying to decide if Sugar is right for us and I have a question... we have loaded the accounts module with information and created some new fields for salesrep... we are now entering contacts and assigning accounts to the contact... in the account subpanel for the contacts, we are showing the rep number and this works for the view of the contact... is there any way to select contacts by the repnumber?

Not enough info here to help. Maybe if you showed us some screen shots it would help. I'm just not sure what you are looking to do here.
