See contacts of a child account in a parent account

Hi,

I am linking accounts to other accounts using the member of: field.

When I am in the parent account, I would like to see in the contacts section all the contacts from the accounts that are member of this parent account.

Also with projects and other modules. When I see A Parent object I would like to see all the objects from the child, (ej, note, files, etc). For example If I get into a project, I would like to see all the notes and things from the objects of that project (ex. contacts, tasks,)


Any idea?

Not possible out of the box. You'd need to create some custom views to get it to do that.

I believe it is possible through a function based subpanel.
Take a look into modules/Campaigns/metadata/subpaneldefs.php and modules/Campaigns/Campaign.php

Hi Angel

You have to implement, by hand, a new view to accomplish your requirement.
So you would implement the same stragegy inside these files.
You can access them through your file system.
