send invites or reminders only to certain people

When I schedule a meeting, you can send invites. It invited everyone.
Is there a way just to send the invite to certain people.

For example I want to setup a call from one user(a sales manager) to a customer. The customer does not know that we are going to call them, it's really a cold call. I want to notify the sales manager (user) that they need to call them.
