    Default Sending email campaign - problems

    I have prepared email campain, put message text and click for send email. Everything moved into Email Quene.
    I have marked all boxes and click to Send Quened Email Campaigns.

    Unfortunately after sending 1, 2, max 3 mails system is displaying number 1 on clear screen as on screen shot below. Some messages have box checked in progress but nothing changing - this box is market all the time.


    I can not find solution what is wrong. My version is 6.0 GA
    System: windowsXP
    I'm using gmail account and Number of emails sent per batch:90

    Your error comes most likely from a php time out - probably you try to send attachments with your email or you have embedded pictures or your server is extremely slow or your provider blocks outgoing email (in the latter case the error message looks differently though).
    Please check your web log for any php related error messages, in some (rare) cases even the sugar log shows something.

    I also recommend to read the manual (or some posts here) how to set up and send a campaign. What you do is possible but not the intended way.

    Are you sure that gmail allows you to send such an amount of emails within one send?

    Why didn't you configure your scheduler with its scheduler settings?

    It seems that gmail has marked you as a wild spammer.

    You have absolutely right. I have enclosed 2 files. One around 700kB and second around 1,1MB. Total is below 2MB.
    What should I change to allow use similar attachments in the future?

    Large attachments are no good. Sugar doesn't cache anything thus it takes forever until a single email is put together and sent. Only cure: Use links rather than attachments so that people can download the files from e.g. your website. This has the advantage that you can track who did something (= is interested in whatever you have to offer).

    If you really really need to send such large attachments you may fiddle with the php time out setting - go up to 300 or 420 but then the email campaign may take an entire day (do not forget to restart Apache afterwards).

    To answer Kuske's question and as a warning to you: Google allows only 500 mails per day/ email to be sent. This is valid for the free Google Apps version. The paid one allows more, not sure how many.
