    Default Sending email campaigns

    Help! We have Sugar CRM linked to Outlook. The email campaign in Sugar works. My problem is that from outlook, I can only send batches of 50 emails at a time. More than 50 emails and Outlook says the messages are undeliverable. We have a contact list of 4000 customers. I'm at the point of dumping sugar and going to something like AWeber or Constant Contact. Is there any other solution out there for either modifying Sugar to send the campaigns to another application that can handle 4000 contacts OR modifying Outlook? Thanks!

    Hello,

    I am a bit confused. What do you mean when you say that the campaigns are linked to your outlook? You can use the Sugar campaigns module to set up and send out the email campaigns. In the Admin area, you can determine how many emails you want to go out per batch under Admin-->Manage campaign email settings. The first field is:
    "Number of emails sent per batch". The batches are basically the # of emails that go out every xx amount of time.

    You will want to check your server settings to see the time period, and to see if there are any limitations set on the # of emails that can be sent out. This is probably what is limiting you from sending out more emails, not Sugar itself.

    I need a sugar CRM tutorial. We have Sugar CRM and have never learned to use it. The development team that installed it "cut their teeth" on our sugar implementation and they no longer use sugar. Basically, sugar is integrated to our website but we don't know how to use it and neither did the guys who installed it. I would love to talk to you or someone at your company over the phone to learn the system. Our sugar version is 4.5.1d. Do you all have an hourly consult rate?
