Sendmail is not sending

Hi There,

I am using SugarCRM Open Source on a Windows XP PC.
I have tried to setup our company SMTP settings to send email via Sugar but I can't get this to work.

At this point I switched everything to "Sendmail", when I send e-mail it doesn't give me a "Send-error" report anymore but the e-mail don't get delivered neither.

Are there any setting I need to adjust? I have been trying to send email from Sugar for over 2 weeks now,

Last time I checked, windows didn't have send mail.
Are you using Indigo star?

No I am not using Indigo Star, what is it for?
I am running SugarCRM Open Source via Window Internet Explorer over the internet on a Windows XP PC.

Is "Sendmail" for Apple?
What can I do to make this email account work, really in need of it.
