    Default Separate Databases, Domain login

    Hello Everyone,

We are currently using SugarCRM 5.1.0b. Everything works ok, but I need to expand the functionality. I need to incorporate several levels into SugarCRM, but I don't it's possible. We have several dozen partners that need limited access to accounts, I.E. only their account. And within that company, there are several layers of rights driven access (Manager, Rep, etc...)

My company needs to see everything, like an umbrella company, but the satellite company only needs to see information relating to them (their own calender, contacts, tasks etc...) I have tried setting something like this up in Module Builder, but it doesn't really work.

I have also looked at vTiger, but it sports a similar system to Sugar. Does any recommendations or ideas on how to get this to work, short of running a Sugar instance for each partner?

    Thanks & regards.

There is no easy solution to this. Sugar is not a multi-tenant application and is designed to only be used by one company/organization.

You may be able to get some of the functionality you want via the manipulation of security roles, use of Reports To field and the Security Suite add on, but again, the system isn't designed to handle what you want so you are likely to still run into limitations.
