Ok, so I had some OS coruption on my Redhat server which caused me to have to rebuild the server from bare metal.
I rebuild instead on CentOS5 - no problem
Installed a new copy of Sugar (5.2.0e) and it is fine, but a blank db.
I then mounted the OLD HDD into the server, and now have the 'flat?' my sql files on that HDD. I need to see if I can re-constitute the db if possible form the 'flat' files.
Is there anyone on who can assist? I am willing to PAY if I have to, the data is that important, but also hoping someone who knows MSSQL can assist me.
I am not a linux guy, but a MS guy, this is my only linux server. We use it for cpanel to host web abd mail for a few clients, as well as host out Sugar Server for use by our support dept.
I think I see the old 'flat' files unfer /var/mssql but again am not sure. any assistance woudl be appreciated.
