Default Server IMAP Setting: UTF-8 or Westeren ISO-8859-1?

I'm seeing some issues with the email Message ID's and Attachment filenames (again), and I'm trying to debug this problem.

Question: Does the SugarCRM program expect to see UTF-8 encoded messages from the mail server or can it handle ISO-8859-1?

In other words, what character set should our MS Exchange IMAP be sending information in?

    Thank you.

    jjwdesign,
The file name is being coverted to UTF-8 by using mb_convert_encoding function and the encoded info come from mail server. For the file contents, check saveAttachmentBinaries function and handleTranserEncoding function for the debug purpose but I would say that we do support ISO-8859-1.

    Thanks
