I've seen the question asked before in this forum.. but haven't seen an answer provided.
I intend to set up 3 Group Users which specific email will flow into .. so I can assign multiple end-users to receive cases and respond from one email account.
This is not intuitive enough for me to just set it up .. and the sugarcrm university and manuals don't really speak to the set up as much as selling the sugarcrm product.
Am I missing anything in my check list below?
1) Manage Users (create the Group User, right?)
2) Manage Users (create Users for my Customer Support Team)
3) Create Role (for defining the actions my Customer Service Team can take on a case)
Example for one of the Groups:
Group User: SupportBilling email: SupportBilling@(domain).com
User1: John Doe email: John.Doe@(domain).com Role Assigned: Billing Customer Support
User2: Jane Doe email: Jane.Doe@(domain).com Role Assigned: Billing Customer Support
User3: Bobby Doe email: Bobby.Doe@(domain).com Role Assigned: Billing Customer Support
Role: Billing Customer Support (responds to cases via outbound email address: SupportBilling@(domain).com
Question 1: Can I assign more than 1 role to an individual user?
Question 2: Can anyone help me with a list of what needs to be 'enabled' or 'selected' to make sure it works?
Any advice?[/FONT]
