Shared calendars in 5?

User A creates event
User B can't see event in shared calaendar.
if user A add's user B to the event, user B can see it in the shared calendar.

I thought this was supposed to operate differently from the above?

How can one user see what another user has on the books?

In the shared calendar can B see A's calendar?

At the top of the calendar there is an edit button where u choose which calendars to see

I guess that's a new thing. I don't remember that when i was toying around with 4.5 however long ago.
