Sharing Records - Security Suites

Hi all

We are trying to share a record from a custom module between two teams of users.

Users from Team A creates the record and should assign it to an user from Team B, only creator and assigned to users should be able to work with this record (I mean List,View and Edit it).

At this moment I have a Security Group for Team A where I have assigned 5 users, and another Security Group for Team B where I have 14 users. We can say that Team A are supervisors of users in Team B however they should only see the information they work with, no any other user's records.

Both Security Groups belong to a thirth Security Group called "Segment North".

Is it possible to get this business scenario using Security Groups?, if so could you plesae point me how?

First, what is a "Security Group"? Is this a teams module that you have loaded into your SugarCRM CE installation? Are you using CE or Pro/Ent/Ult?

Second, should people in Team A see all of Team A's records of just the records they are assigned?

Third, should Team A see any of Team B's records?

I ask because I don't think you have it set up right so that only 2 people (the creator and the assigned) and noone else can use the record, but since I don't know what a 'Security Group' is I am assuming you are using a 3rd party team manager and I do not know its capabilities.
