Shortcuts menu missing!

Please excuse me as I am new to SugarCRM!

I have had Version 6.0.3 (Build 4339) installed by Siteground on my domain.

This is probably me being dumb buy I cannot for the life of me find where the shortcut menu is. I know it is supposed to be on the left and has a tab to minimize and maximize it but it doesnt seem to be there.

No topics on the forums seem to cover this. Is it just a setting I have missed!

And is there a reason why this has changed?

Some users always have problems when things get out of place after an upgrade...
I would like to place the Shortcuts (now named 'Actions') back to the old place, at the side.
How should I do that?

Any news on this? I'd like to see both the last viewed and shortcuts back on the left side. Certainly this must be configurable.

It is not configurable now.
