Showing preview or full view of notes/emails in history tab, SugarCRM CE 5.2.0a

Hello everyone!

I tried to search for this, but it seems noone posted about this before.

In history tab in leads/accounts/opportunities modules I would like to be able to see a preview or maybe even a full view of each item, i.e. emails, notes, etc. without clicking on 'view summary' button to open up a history pop-up window every time.

Is this doable? If so, where should I start? What files/settings to modify?

I am using SugarCRM CE, 5.2.0a

It's not achievable using the native business logic

However, a mouseover and ajax would be a nice way to do this

Let me know if you get it done ... it would be a nice function ... we've done similar with calendars and meetings so it's very do-able

Thank you for your reply, I will try this.

In the meantime, as a temporary solution, where would I add script to automatically pop-up a window that opens if I click 'View Summary' button in the history tab? I want it to be opened automatically as soon as I open lead/opportunity/account details so that I don't have to click on it.

Hey, I was wondering if you got this working, I'm also looking for a view of all the expanded notes under an account.
