Silent Install

Does anybody know how to get the Silent install to work?

I can see that you can use a config_si.php and set the next_stpe to SilentInstall but I need a little more direction.

I also have similar case. i have to install SugarCRM in silent mode but with no success. Did you managed to move forward and have some success. If so can you share info?

Yeah, I got it to work.
I created my own script.

We have a standard version of our product and I just take a SQL dump as well as copy the files to a new directory.
I wrote a bash script that does it all and then my php file just calls the bash script. (found bash faster than PHP)

I am not familar with SugarCRM itself. My task is to install it as part of installation of our product and I don't want to use SugarCRM wizzard. Is there an option to send me your bash script to kamenov@gmail.com?
