Default Simple question on database integration

Hi, I am completely new to SugarCRM, please help me with the following question.

I am running on-line SaaS business, and new client accounts are created automatically when they fill the form on the website/subscribe to service package. Data for their accounts are stored in MS SQL database.

Is it possible to synchronize that data with account profiles in SugarCRM?
I.e., when I login into Sugar, I want to see all the new accounts created, their subscription plans and contact data etc.

I guess it is possible to instruct SugarCRM where to look for specific account data fields, right?

    Thank you
    Alexey

You can do this quite easily using the SOAP API ... more info here http://developers.sugarcrm.com/index.php

Sugar also comes with the ability for your web forms to populate the Sugar database directly. What is the other purposes of your separate MSSQL database? Can you do without it? If so look at Sugars Web to Lead functionality.

Alternatively you could use Apatar, Talend or Navicat to do a lot of scheduled data transfer or as Salesagility suggests use SOAP API

Few possibilities on database integration. You can find data transfer programs like Talend. This type tool will allow you to regularly update your database.

To keep the two systems in 'sync' you need to use a tool designed to do that. The Soap interface in Sugar will make it easier, but you still need the tool.

Talend or Jitterbit are both highly rated. You will need to load one of these and then configure it to 'read' you saas application and 'write' to Sugar.

We've done this with Jitterbit for several clients and it works really well.

    I don't agree.

The SOAP API is only half of what he's asking for. You can't do data integration between two applications with Sugar's SOAP API.
