Default Simple question from a nooby.

    Hello everyone,

I'm currently fiddling around with sugarCRM before i put it into production. There are a few features i'll need a developer to program in for me but for now i'm trying to customize it as best as i can.
I was wondering if sugarCRM allows active objects in the detail view of a lead, contact or account. By active objects i mean a text box or check box or dropdown list that isn't greyed out and that someone can access immediately without having to click on edit on the top of the lead, contact or account. If so how can i achieve this?
    Thanks

    Hi rotteneggz

This can not be achieved without a lots of customization.
I can tell you it is not easy to accomplish and you will need to modify the view.detail.php and probably implement some ajax based javascript.
How is your skills regarding such features?

    Cheers
