smtp server

Hi,
since I receive no mails I suggest
that I configured the wrong smtp server.

Strato is my hoster, so I used
post.strato.de
or
smtp.strato.de
as
smtp user I take my e-mail address and pw

is this correct? Can someone pls help me.

What are the settings your hosting provider gave you for your SMTP server. If you don't know you need to contact them
