Default So what works well in SugarCRM

I see a lot of complaints on these forums about SugarCRM functionality, stability over time, and bugs. But hey, that's what fourms are mainly for. But I was wondering, what does everyone really like about SugarCRM, what parts are very stable and which parts are bug free?

We use SugarCRM since 2.x and most problems, errors or update issues were only flaws. We were always able to work with SugarCRM and most problem were solved rather fast.
I still get some errormessages in my php-errorlog, but, with little php knowledge, i understand that those errors do not constrain the function of SugarCRM.
So i'm mostly happy with Sugar

we've been using the open source version since nov 2005. we migrated away from Maximizer for about 20 users. overall we've had a very good response from the users. There was only a few negative comments moving to a browser based platform, but once the benefits were explained the team embraced the product. We are spread out over 4 states so something that worked remotely via a VPN was a must.

There's been a few minor issues along the way, but it's been relatively problem free from our end user point of view. from an IT support point of view a web based product like this is great for backing up, restoring, accessing remotely etc.

Integration with our other systems is also much easier since it's a standard database engine.

All up I would say that sugarCRM has really encouraged us to try other opensource products - it's a shame there isn't more business grade applications of the quality of sugar in the open source area.
