SOAP Set_Relationship on Contacts and Custom Module, returns Module Does Not Exist

Hello,
Doing some SOAP work to create a custom module entry and then set its relationship to a contact. All is set up and works fine in Sugar client. Using SOAP set_relationship returns "Module Does Not Exist"

I see a bug was filed and closed, but there is no patch, solution or workaround

I'm using Sugar CE Version 5.1.0 (Build 4732)
MySql version 5.0.45-community-log
PHP version 5.2.5
Webserver, Apache 1.3.37 (Unix)
OS: Linux

I can see the DB records created when a relationship is made using Sugar client. As a workaround, I could do this, but I need to create a unique id for the relationship record, is there a function to do this? If, so I could get by using SQL directly.

Any help for workarounds, patch or fix would be much appreciated.

Is this custom module tab false?
SOAP API can deal to modules tab true only.

in what file is this code where i set a module to true? there are some modules that aren't exposed that i need to flip.

Has anyone found an answer for this? I have the exact problem and cannot seem to find a work around.

My custom module tab display is set to true and I'm still getting this error on set_relationship. Any one have a solution or can point in the direction of WHY?

I have this problem too.
I found it happens for any relationship added with studio, even if between standard modules.

i found my problem..
the actual relationship did not exist in the relationships table..
i ran the repair relationships in ADMIN>REPAIR and it did the trick
